omega 3.10 why d3d and opengl in different tabs

in the 3.9 drivers the opengl settings and d3d settings where in one tab. with these ones they are in 2 seperate tabls in the control panel like the ati 3.6 drivers which is kind of confusing me.

by the way I just reinstalled windows with these drivers

is this normal!?

Very strange.....

I'm using Omega's CAT 3.10 drivers and there's just the 3D tab with DirectX and OpenGL within it.

Looks like this:

EDIT: The reason for the ATI Clock Rate tab is due to my choice to NOT uninstall the RadClocker from previous drivers.

Frankly, it matters little to me if it's all in one tab or seperated. I just "set 'em and forget 'em" anyway.

Yea, I just use Radlinker anyway. By the way, I have the 3D tab as well (OMEGA 3.10s), altho with OMEGAs 3.9s (and mayby 3.8s, cant remember) they were seperated, so... i dunno.

One thing that makes a difference is whether you uninstall the control panel prior to installing new drivers. At least that's how it works for me. I just don't uninstall Radlinker since Omega had to remove it from his installation package.

Yes, it is; they wouldn't be separate if the control panel in your installation remained from previous drivers.
