Insert disc 2??

When i try to install this triver i get a popup that asks me to insert disk 2? it asks for a file named "rad_w2kxp_omega_2504.2"

moved to driver feedback not site feedback, when you are downloading are you disabling third party downloaders?

This means you got a corrupt download. Try downloading again.

try downloading from a different mirror.

That error comes up when the download is currupted.

and when i install this driver do i have to uninstall all this in add/remove programs?
"ATI Help for uninstall of programs"
"ATI Control panel"
"ATI Display driver"

yes you do.

small peice of advice never overwrite ati drivers.

Sometimes you need to install over old drivers. Sometimes if I have issues with a new driver install, it is after I uninstalled the old ones and used Driver cleaner. So keep that in mind as well.

As for installing over previous drivers....I've been doing it for years now. If I ever get a prompt asking if I want to overwrite a newer file I say YES. If I get a prompt asking if I want to KEEP the newer file I say NO. This way I get a 'pure' installation of the current drivers I'm installing. Otherwise, you get a mis-match of files.

Once I get things working with the newer installation, I run a Registry Cleaner....e.g. EasyCleaner 2.0 to clear up anything. You can get that here: www.toniarts.com It's an excellent program and totally free.
