Insert disc 2??
When i try to install this triver i get a popup that asks me to insert disk 2? it asks for a file named "rad_w2kxp_omega_2504.2"

try downloading from a different mirror.
That error comes up when the download is currupted. |

and when i install this driver do i have to uninstall all this in add/remove programs?

Sometimes you need to install over old drivers. Sometimes if I have issues with a new driver install, it is after I uninstalled the old ones and used Driver cleaner. So keep that in mind as well.

As for installing over previous drivers....I've been doing it for years now. If I ever get a prompt asking if I want to overwrite a newer file I say YES. If I get a prompt asking if I want to KEEP the newer file I say NO. This way I get a 'pure' installation of the current drivers I'm installing. Otherwise, you get a mis-match of files.
Once I get things working with the newer installation, I run a Registry Cleaner....e.g. EasyCleaner 2.0 to clear up anything. You can get that here: www.toniarts.com It's an excellent program and totally free. |
