Omega 2.5.04 multi monitor problem

hi all,
i am using the actual omega drivers with 2 monitors.
The card is an sapphire radeon 9500@9700(^^) so softmod is enabled.

Everytime i set the option "Extend windows desktop to this monitor" ( sorry idk the exact translation), the whole driver options in the tabs: OpenGL, d3d, misc and color have a totally new layout and settings (perhaps like an older catalyst version?)

sorry i know my english is not the best...

Yea it has been a problem for a long time
It is supposed to be fixed according to the readme:
"Fixed the Dual Monitor/ATI Control Panel problems. (2k/XP/9x/ME)"

But when I tried them it was still broke, so I went back to regular catalyst drivers.
I used to go back to DNA but now DNA has copied Omega's way of installing the drivers so the multi monitor thing is broke in his drivers too.

did you uninstall correctly? try using cat-uninstaller.exe, you can get it from ati's homepage somewhere

I actually tested it here and it is fixed, but you have to follow the entire Driver Cleaner steps in order to fully fix it since some old settings stay in the registry that prevent full dual monitor functionality.
What I had to do is: clean, then boot the PC with the first monitor (VGA port), install the drivers, reboot, test all the functions, connect the second monitor and test the second monitor functions, it worked, I could select any of the two monitors and be able to change the settings.

Check if you have the any driver installation folders on other drives than C:, delete or move those.

I have the same control panel problems with multiple monitors.

When I first upgraded from older Omegas to this version, I had no problems.
Recently, I decided to do my semester reformat/reinstall, so I installed the newest Omegas over the default drivers, but I encountered the control panel problem. After trying a bunch of solutions, including reinstalling, Driver Cleaning, uninstalling, etc..., all without success, I decided to start clean. However, I still have the same problem even after these steps:

-I did a full reformat/reinstall of Windows XP (with only one monitor connected).
-I installed motherboard drivers (IDE, NIC, AGP).
-I did Windows Update and grabbed the security updates.
-Reboot.
-I did Windows Update and grabbed DirectX 9.0b.
-Reboot.
-I executed the Driver Cleaner steps.
-Reboot.
-I executed the Driver Installation for n00bs steps for uninstalling old drivers (disconnected NIC, removed registry entries, deleted *.inf files, ran regcleaner).
-Reboot.
-I installed Omega drivers.
-Reboot.
-I ran Refresh Force.
-I reinstalled AGP drivers.
-Reboot.
-I checked out the control panel...fully functional.
-Reboot.
-I plugged in the second monitor.
-I checked out the control panel...fully functional.
-I enabled the second monitor.
-I configure the second monitor (resolution, refresh rate).
-I checked out the control panel...not fully functional.
-I reconnect the NIC and post this message

[edit]
I tried using Omega 2.4.96c's but encountered the same problem.
However, when I used the original ATI Catalyst 3.10s (W1zzard's softmodded), the problem disappeared.
