DVI on the 9000 Pro card?

Anyone know anything that might help me get the DVI output on my 9000 Pro card to work with the DVI input on my Hitachi widescreen? I've got them connected via a normal DVI cable, but I get nothing on the TV -- it doesn't think that it even has a DVI signal coming in.

If I turn the TV off and turn it back on again -- the video on my monitor (connected to the standard VGA output on the 9000, of course) goes black for a few seconds. So, the 9000 at least seems to do something when something happens at the other end of the DVI connection -- but still never displays to it.

In the Displays section of the control panel, it doesn't allow me to select the TV output unless I do the "force" override. So, it doesn't appear to be detecting the TV at the other end.

So -- I'm not sure what I try next. Any tricks to getting the 9000 to output over its DVI port?

ATI doesn't sell a dongle for this card -- which seems odd to me. Is it maybe that the DVI port on the 9000 isn't really complete/working or something?

Any thoughts/ideas appreciated! Thanks!
