That's right, I forgot they changed it-

I'm not sure what happens when you get banned though- not that it matters, he can spoof IP's or get new ones.

....yeah.. i can constantly switch my ips around.... but none the less.. he can still view this all... and with a new accout... reply to it... I think Zardon will allow the comments without banning him or something IF he states that he is killersneak and expresses his views....and doesn't to the quick handle switching.....

I don't know about that- KS has said some pretty rude things to Z, and that's just what I know about.. If I were Z I wouldn't.

But still- Killerthief has his own forum and he can attempt to defend himself all he wants there, and I'm sure he will, LOL.

I have read alot of these threads in amusement, how many times is this going to happen? I really have to shake my head and say "we are supposed to be adults". I can see if this keeps up ATI will tell both DNA and Omega to quit tweaking drivers. Oh and as far as what drivers to recommend thats very simple, stick to the cats, because if your card goes out while using either set of tweaks the warranty is null and void period, if you use anything other than the official release it voids the warranty, but this information seems to get lost in the fight.
You can’t discuss anything with killersneak on his web site anything negative about him his driver etc you banned you message edited and you IP revealed!!!! He comes here probably every day as he users multiple accounts and emails. Any one can browse the server it doesn’t require a log in…. He know about this...

this is how killsneak resopnds to anything posted that isn't what he wants to hear...

Dude, you totally missed the point. Did omega come out and say that there are no problems what so ever with his drivers? NO!

DNA said there are no problems with his drivers, and that no one has ever had any error! So it must be something wrong with this computer I’m using. He blames issues caused by his drivers on the user’s hardware! When the omega’s and Ati’s result in not having that issue… There are people that have had the exact same error I had in my review.

Killersneak basically came out and said I made all this stuff up. Well here this thread is proof what was said by me was 101% true. Did you even read the review?

also how many of those people haveing issues a DNA fan or killersneak? ALOT if he does it here then he does it else were.

You can still view the site and most isps change the last bit 0.0.0.XXX on each login... Its really hard to truly ban someone there are always ways.

Also DNA/Killersneak and his lackeys wouldn't even be a topic for discussion here if it wasn’t for them coming, out of no were and with out provocation, on DH and posting fake problems ANTI-Omega propaganda (they do the same on rage3d etc). He then of course says he only reacting to DH picking on him and bashing him? Saying That driverheaven is picking on him out of no were…He came a picked fights remember that. Before that, then there may has only been a few short DNA threads in an over a year. How can we be picking on him when he or his driver are NEVER being discussed get you heads straight!

So you’re saying if I called you an out right liar! Like killersneak called me… And you had 100% proof you wasn't you wouldn’t defend your self? I only posted the truth but he can’t handle the truth so he lies. But, people don’t seem to see it.

Ok, I'm going to have to jump in here. This post was ridiculous. The first link has nothing to do with Omega's work. Problems happened with normal ATI drivers too. In the second link, this does not look like a problem with the drivers, but more like an OS issue, so I dunno why you even posted that. In the third link, this looks to be a VPU recover issue, and someone else with the Omega drivers did not have the problem. The fourth link is about a game problem that has nothing to do with Omega's work (it happens with normal ATI drivers as well). It is caused by the patch that EA released for the game. The fifth link is about the ATI Tool that W1zzard developed. It's not Omega's. He just includes it with his drivers. I have no doubt that Omega's drivers will have flaws (as all do), but please use better examples than these and stop misleading people.

To add fuel to this a little. I cant say I ever had these issues with him but. I was looking at a time how to slipstream raid driversw into the windows xp install. I had fugured out how to slipstream everything else. At any rate I found a how to on his site that I wasted I dont know how many cd's on trying to get to work. I worked with him on this. After his method did not work at all for all hte hardware I have, I have allot of motherboards wiht raid controlers on them, I started to do it another way. I got just about every raid controler working accept one which another forum memeber at another site posted. To make a long story short he kept hounding me for my work in personnal email which he would then put up on his site as his work.

I dont really care so much I just quit answering his emails.

The .INF file does not contain the information about Z-Buffer being set to 16bit - where else would the installer look for that info?

Like I said before, I’m willing to concede that this was yea another driver/installer bug, but then you must concede that the tests were ran at those setting and that the DNA’s should have scored lower not higher. I have tested this many times on my card that is what the setting come up I’m even set and installed driver over and over it what reads out matches what was posted. Each time changing and displaying to match that driver’s preference/default settings. I don’t pretend to understand it only state that those are the settings that the installer aprently chose by default. Because believe me or not I honestly didn't change them.

If I get enough time set a side I will re the DNA’s tests again. If there settings show different I could alter them to read per what even killersneak says they should default 2 and run the tests again. But it’ll all very time intensive ensuring room temps etc remain virtually unchanged as not to alter the results. I took a lot of care in keeping things as accurate as possible.

I used the omegas once of twice when before I tinkered around before when I tried some over clocking and omega’s had came with radclocker. Really for everyday use I regularly use the Ati official drivers and tweak a couple of the tabs myself I’d never taken such a deep look into DNA’s or Omega’s tweaked drivers.

at the moment....

best thing said for this moment in time....

BTW... about the 16 bit not being settable in the INF, it could be in there... just hidden in such a way that it's set by not "16..." but by another number....

I'm not sure.... Omega could comment on this... but i doubt he's changed those kinds of settings as there isn't any point to.... ATI's hardware is specfically designed for preformance and quality in how they set it already.... it's kinda like Forcing 16 bit color on a internally forced rendered 32bit Card.... little to no preformance gain... and a bit of degredation of image quality.... but the comparison stops there as internal true rendered cards will increase quality in orginal desiged for 16 bit color apps... not the case with the depth buffers...

If its forced to 24 by a PROPER command and then forced to 16 by another proper command - the two entries may contradict each other and create a big error. You all trust ONE person to make a review, and none of you even tested the drivers to make SURE the 16bit thing is true, maybe SSV is right...its all about how many "click" on DH website, get their members etc.
