Snapshot Desktop Icons
I have all my desktop icons in left-right alphabetical order with program icons on left of screen and folder icons on right, but after I install a new Catalyst revision, the computer boots in low-res mode. When I change to hi-res, the icons are no longer in alphabetical order. So I spend ages dragging them back to the proper order.
I'm sure I saw a tool to fix this but where...? Last edited by DrStrange; Feb 13, 2004 at 03:54 PM. |

I'm having this issue with the cat's since i re-installed windows, does it with 4.1 and 4.2, not tried any others. Always boots to 640x480 and moves all my icons, it's like it's not shutdown properly and saved settings, but it does. I don't think it's a cat problem but Windows not saving it properly, If I manage to find a fix I'll update you. and I'll check out that TVTOOL. thanks Virus

powerstrip has a "save icon placement" feature that works great.
