SmartShader Effects
Unsure if this question has been asked or not.
With the release of the SmartShader contest. ATI released a program that will run custom pss effects. The zip file comes with several new smartshaders for testing and getting an idea of making them. I would like to use a few of them if possible. My question is this, how does ATI install the smartshaders? I did a search for .pss files and it found 0 files. So, it would have to be coded into a dll or something right? Maybe, it can be renamed to a different file type? If anyone has any info, that would be great. I am just more curious if it can be done or not.

You can open the file in notepad............and to use them you just load the shader you want with the pssprogram and open a opengl game.

No, I mean as a real SmartShader effect. Not using the pssprogram, but the actually setting in CP. So it will work on DirectX and OpenGL without using an external program.
