Hey Omega or Catalayst Maker...

Is there a chance that the temp monitor in the 9800XT could get put in a system tray...future
driver release?

I O'clock with 3rd party progs, but the temp monitor is still kinda cool and handy.

Also, I know GPU's run hot....mine goes from 46-56C depending onload,etc.

Need a better cooler. I already removed the stock fan and the plastic container.
(Traps heat...dumb design). I now have two of my 80mm Vantecs (85CFM) blasting
cool to cold air on it. Haven't decided what the final solution for this card will be.

Might install a small Vapor cooler on it.

Anyway...temp thermometer in tray or in the cornerof DT....be cool...nopun...

other then looking cool what would be the pratical aplication?

I mean i can even have a program the monitors the temps of my hdd and displays it but why would i need two...

any prorma running polling will use alot or time and system resouces at each polling interval, so you could loose some performance...

I don't think it's impossable to do
it could be cool i guess... but I don't think i'd use it

wHAT PROGRAM mbm5...or that Wizzard?

I couldn't get either one to display VPU temps.

I don't care about my HDD temps...Windows will crash anyway...

If you can point me to a small program that uses the XT diode and gives me a constant monitor...

That would be cool.
