Laggy graphs with sap9800pro @ nfs:underground...

ok...when i play this game, whitch btw it kix ass!, sometimes when im at a circuit and im at a place where the graphics reqs are not that great(like when i go through a tunnel) then the car just kinda lags and goes very fast...i mean the game speed is ok in the whole circuit but when i go through a tunnel its like everything + speed goes 10x! and basically there is no way you can control the car cuz is like all of a sudden it goes into hyperspeed or somethin...is that a option from the game or does it have to do with the gpu settings? thnx!

P.S. Im usin cat 4.3 but this occured even with older versions...

Donator
That's a new one on me, it sorta doesn't sound a video problem if other versions did it too.

hey raven_g20, I experienced similar issues on my rig with NSFU. I have a 9700Pro. 512MB @ 434Mhz and an AthlonXP 2500@2200Mhz. I found that I had to run the game no higher than 1024x768. AA had to be off, AF could be set to a max of 8x, but then it started to do it a bit when you go through the flood lanes and there is the water that sprays up. I've tried Cat 3.10 and up and had the same issues, but all my other games run very, very smoothly. I just sacrificed resolution and AA / AF to get a stable framerate, i still had all the graphics opions at max lthough having them t minimum made no diference at all) so the game still looked sweet.

If you manage to fix it completely and can use AA and AF please let me know
