DVD problem

Help please!!!
When I try and load the MMC (latest from ati) drivers for my 9800 AIW card, i get an error message that says "DVD encoder missing" and the DVD player part of MMC does not install.

I downloaded the latest DVD encoder update from ATI which asks for the location of my original ATI disc. When I point to the drive that contains the original ATI disc, it says the disc is not valid. I've tried installing and re-installing, using Driver Cleaner 2 but nothing helps.

ATI are useless...can't get a non-automated answer out of them....any ideas???

Is it a true retail Built By ATi card with a full Catalyst Disc?

If not then youre not entitled to the full ATi Multimedia Center.
