Sad Omega Driver Problems :(

When I attempt to install the Omega 2522 or the 2514 drivers on my laptop I get this error,

Error Number: 0x80040707
Description: Dll function call crashed: ISLAYER.ISLIsATICard
Setup will now terminate

I'm running on a Compaq Evo N800v which has a Mobility Radeon 7500.

These are my first attempts at installing Omega drivers, previously I was using a Mobilemodded version of the 3.9 Cats. Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong?

thx for the help swimtech, I actually figured out that when I deleted my device drivers I must have deleted some vital files that was needed to recognize my video card. Luckily I had a restore point that fixed that. For now I'm going to go with the 4.3 Cats and maybe try the Omegas some other time.
