Procedure to Update OMEGA drivers with New OMEGA drivers

This worked for me.

UPDATING “RADEON OMEGA” DRIVERS to a Newer OMEGA DRIVER SET:

1) Remove Radlinker, MultiRes, and Powerstrip. Reboot
2) Go to Start/Program Files/Radeon Omega Drivers/Uninstall Driver Components. Uninstall driver components. Reboot
3) Using MSCONFIG, turn off AntiVirus and other start-up items, except “atiptaxx”. Reboot.
4) Install new OMEGA driver set. Reboot.
5) Select options such as second monitor, refresh rates for each resolution, and Radlinker settings.

6) Enjoy!

If you guys are happy with this procedure, perhaps we could make it a "STICKY". The "Driver Installation Guide for n00bs" is overkill for someone wanting to just update their OMEGA Drivers. Also, I was at a loss on how to remove the old Omega driver folder in the C:\Program Files along with other old Omega installation files (and I was unsure the effect it would have) until OMEGADRIVE told me to use the "Uninstall Driver Components" feature in the Start Menu prior to installing the new OMEGAs.

I've cursed trying to update ATI's Radeon drivers, to no avail. All I ended up with was corrupted video, and a requirement to clean install Windows and all my programs (Days of productivity lost) . Lets spell it out for everyone who visits these forums.
