Problem with drivers

I have the new set of Omega Corner drivers 4.4. I have the ATI 9800 pro 128mb video card and when I set it up to AGP 8x while playing Battlefield 1942 -Desert Combat- I see a lot of clolored dots and once and a while it locks up to a black screen I don't know what to do. Also VPU does not work I tried turning it off and still nothing.
