7500 city of heroes

Forgive me if this has been posted before, I cant find it with search. I have a Dell 5100 with 7500 Mobility radeon 32mb card. It worked great with most 3d games, but the characters in City of Heroes are all black. I installed Omega's drivers in hopes it would fixit. But no dice. Is there a setting i can do to fix it?

thanks

I would also like to hear a solution on that particular problem. A friend of mine wants to play City of Heroes, he has a HP Pavilion with a Radeon IGP 345 and he experiences the same problem : even with the latest omega driver all the characters appear as black 'ghosts' (only some of the textures appear pasted on the character but they are all black).

The 7500 series isn't supported in City of Heroes, there've been several threads on the CoH forums during beta and early in release about it and as far as I know no one's been able to make them work. The game only supports 8500 and up in the Radeon series.

From what I've hesrd, the 7500 is a DX7-type card. Another game that does not work much is Unreal 2.
A lot of textures come out nothing but White. After one point in the game where the Planet Landing intro is playing, it totally crashes.

I have no problems playing it on my GF4 Ti 4200 8X box, though (a DX8-type card).
