Help fixing screen res problem on UXGA display and Omega drivers
I recently installed the latest (based on 4.4) Omega drivers on my Dell 5150 laptop with Mobility Radeon 9000 (64MB). The problem is that when I run a game at 800x600, instead of scaling to fit my screen, the game shows up in an 800x600 box in the middle of my screen with black filling the rest of the screen (Game is Hitman 2; I haven't tried any others). With the stock dell drivers, the screen is able to scale to fill the native 1600x1200 screen res. Is there some way to fix the Omega drivers to correct this problem (perhaps a reg tweak or *.ini fix)?
EDIT: I've used the search feature of this board and see that a few people have experienced this problem, but mainly with widescreen LCDs; I couldn't decifer a solution in any of the posts. Last edited by smtkr; May 14, 2004 at 07:46 PM. |

In the ati controll panel did you enable scaling in the display properties?
