Screen corruption on bootup? Omega?

Using a mobility radeon 9000 and Omega 4.5's just before the Windows XP "welcome" message when the screen initialises i get checkered black and white vertical lines for a second?

Is that normal?

A lot of people are experiencing issues with the Omega's and notebooks. Try the official cats.

Try using Official Catalyst drivers along with Mobility Modder and see if you have better luck

I see corruption on the welcome screen now, too. It goes away in a few seconds, but didn't look healthy....Instead of Welcome it showed a highly distorted Windows is shutting down screen. :/
