Omega drivers don't work on my laptop

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A laptop with a Radeon IGP 320M chip ("Graphics by ATI") and 512MB RAM. Only the manufacturer's drivers work but are very old. I have tried installing new ATI "Graphics by ATI"and Omega drivers but they don't work. When I install omega drivers the Advanced Smartgart Options don't work and ATI Tool crashes the system. When I try a 3D game the screen goes black and freezes.

Please help. I'm desperate for new drivers as the old ones don't work with many new games.

did u use driver cleaner and read the directions? try that first. then reinstall the chipset drivers mabe...

I have downloaded the ATI mobility modder from DH and used it on Catalyst 4.6 . Now it works just fine and i can finally play TRON 2.
