Is there any reason why some people have overdrive on there X800 Pro's and others don't? My Pro has the temp sensor, yet no drivers will enable overdrive, why is this? and is it going to be fixed?

got them going , so far ran aquamark03 at 36,015 about the same as i got with 4.6 Omegas.

Anyone know if the Knights of the Old Republic, freezing/crashing is fixed with these drivers??? I swear I love the game, but the crashes are annoying as hell.

Regarding Thief 3 with shadows & lighting, has it been resolved for cards other than X800 models ?

Reason I ask is cause they mention that there is still an issue in the notes but specifically metion X800 XT Platinum or Pro with these drivers. Where as the link for the support base article mentions 4.6 with XP (http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4557.html), like if they infer that all Radeon have this issue.

Jst a clarification would be welcome or if anyone tried the new ones with Thief 3.

Very nice improvement in 3DMark03, hit the 11k mark on a overclocked X800 Pro. Other improvements are obvious in gaming. For me the biggest improvement from one set to the next ever. Well done!

Game 3 of 3DMark03.. I just noticed some sort of pixelated outlining around the girl..and her sword. All the other tests run fine.

Everything else seems to run fine as well including FarCry.

Im gettings some WAY lower framerates in F1 Challenge [RH03]. Like 31fps pulling out of the pits with the 4.7s and mid 70s with the 4.6s. Did the proper uninstall procedure and driver cleaner like ive done amillion times before.

Ut2k4 seems to have dropped from 63fps avg to 56fps avg when benchmarked with umark at 1024x768 32bit high quality settings. First time ive not liked a new cat release.

No Thief 3 fix and it still says it's an X800 problem when it's not =/. 4.8 better have thief 3 fixes

so all these driver did was increase performence for x800pro .. WHAT ABOUT THE RADEON 9xxx USERS!!!!! where is the new cp.. ? looks like a great drivers for x800 users.. bah.. cant wait for 4.8

got score of 3715 thats up from 3707 from omega drivers

on my video card. Wonder why I ask because HP doesn't like ati card lol

I am sure that the new CP will be released when it is ready for the general public. You do want to have a new CP that has been tested completely.......dont you?

Omega's oh where to start. Omega releases super tweaked ati and Nvid drivers. In short makes the cat's run better for every day games instead of benchmarks. If your into gaming then wait until Omega releases his set. If your into points of benches then download ati's drivers. Link http://www.omegadrivers.net/

TV out is still showing a BIG black bar along the bottom, the same as the 4.5 and 4.6 drivers. So I'm having to use the 4.4's where all works.

CM can you please look into a fix for this black bar problem?
