Gamma Reset?

Hi, quick question. Why does the gamma setting reset every time I exit a game. If I go into the display settings the gamma setting I set for desktop is back on?. What am I doing wrong? I am using the newest catalyst but I've had this problem with all drivers.

Yeah i get the same problem. Seems to be just on opengl games?

It happens whenever i quit Far Cry for example.

Not THAT bothered about it but it means i have to click the ATI desktop shortcut whenever it happens to remedy the issue

It's not just for openGL games. It's whenever I exit a 3d application. I believe Far Cry is D3D and not openGL.
