Been hitting your site last few days to see if 4.8's are out and I've noticed your ads are becoming pretty heavy now. That's cool, I always click on a few banners when I visit but the really annoying thing is the .wavs you play now.

First time I heard it I couldn't figure out which site was doing it (tabbed browsing is the bomb) and it was driving me nuts, conflicting with my music that was playing.

Hope you don't plan on keeping the .wavs running.

What are you talking about?
I only have ONE ad (the one on top) and NO pop-ups or sounds on my site.
Please do a scan with AdAware on your entire PC, some spyware in your PC may be causing the problem.

Sounds like spyware to me. Remember to use the latest adaware, spybot and spyblaster.

bazooka spyware scanner

also goto www.windowsupdate.com and update your windows.

I have never noticed a wav sound from the Omegadrive site either.
Def. must be something else going on with your computer.

I don't rely on just one anti spyware software to keep them out, I suggest the same to you. I use both Ad-Aware 6.0 (outstanding) and Spyware Nuker (not soo great but it works fine) as a secondary and between them I stay "CLEAN"

Spyware/Adware with .wav playback...Can't say I've ran into that one yet.

I could have sworn it was a wav on your site, since I only had one site open when it happened. I'll do another scan with Ad-Aware and Spybot since I use them weekly. I also have a cookie blocker going as well. (AnalogX's cookiewall) Thanks for responding and letting me know it's not you.

Also Webroot SpySweeper is recommended, actually much better then Ad-aware and spybot, but not free

well its free, you get one update when u first install it... but then u have to pay for updates, but you can still use the scanner, and the rest of the features, and its very good, even better than the rest. thats why i use all 3.

btw guys Ad-Aware went through 2 version updates. Ad-aware SE and then they had to recall it or something and make everyone redownload the new SE version(the very next day in fact)

so make sure you download the new versions. you have to go to the site for that(i wish it would just do it through the update option)
