help! doom 3! X800 XT

Hey guys, I ran demo tests with doom 3 and I'm not sure if these FPS are good...

My specs:
Windows XP Pro (w/sp2)
3.4 Ghz Pen 4 with HT Tech
2 gigs of DDR2 Ram
X800 XT Card

Also, I tweaked my doom files abit

First test: Ultra Quality, 1280 x 1024 Resolution, 2x Anti-Aliasing = 45.2 FPS first time, 52.2 second time

Second Test: Ultra Quality, 1280 x 1024 Resolution, 4x Anti-Aliasing = 33.6 FPS first time, 37.3 second time

3d Test: Ultra Quality, 1280 x 1024 Resolution, 4x Anti-Aliasing, Vsync on = 26.6 FPS first time, 28.7 second

are these fps normal for my pc specs or 2 low?

I just ran timedemo 1 with 1280*1024. 4xAA 16xAF Vsync on. Ultra quality. I got a score of 36.8 on the second run. I have the same setup as you max1pc except I have an AMD64 3200+ but that shouldn't make such a difference. Have you turned on triple buffering when using vsync? Have you applied the Humus tweak?

max1pc: Triple buffering is under opengl tab-compability. You need this ONLY if you use vsync. This help a lot.
