Hey thanks guys =D much <3 here I like it. I am new to this whole Omega drivers stuff, and I have tried the 4.8 and 4.7 omega drivers for my Radeon 9600xt they are AWSOME -- kudos to creator! BUT when I use them for counter strike when I alt+tab when I'm in a CS server it closes my game, but when I'am just in the counter strike window it does not close it when I alt + tab. I have no idea, this is my only problem. Please help.

EDIT:BTW that auto detect max core and max memory options in the ATI Tool, can that damage your computer if I where to have it find one while I was sleeping, cuz it kinda takes awhile .

Well, the problem is that CS is a really old game by now and in order to make it work at optimal speed, I had to use an old OGL file, the one from the Cat 3.2 drivers, and that one has bugs, that's why you can't alt-tab out of the game or take screeshots with it.

As for ATITool, I have been having various problems with it, so I will removing it from my sets in the next update.

then just dont use the old openGL driver for CS. you wont get bad performance with the nice fast card u have anyways.

try pressing "alt+enter" see if that works better?

also running ati tool overnight MIGHT cause problems. you should always keep an eye on it, things can go wrong, sometimes they might not happen, but with computers u cant tell. you void the warrantee its your own neck.

ah hah! another great job by the DH community.

speaking of which, radlinker...Okay so the deal with radlinker is that you dont want to leave it on too long because it stresses your card. Its basically running it constantly and varying speeds. Once it gets up to an optimal speed, it STILL keeps trying to push to a higher speed but then goes back down when it gets artifacts. I wouldnt run the darn thing for more than 10 minutes and I have a custom HSF on the bugger.

you mean by radlinker... ati tool right gemini?

Yeah be careful because your card can get pretty warm going up so high which can be damaging. imo keep an eye on it if you plan to use it.

you u want to OC use radlinker and slowly up yourself and use benchmarks to see how stable it is, or just game. if you get artifacts then just bump it down, but only do a lil at a time

yeah i meant ATItool. thanks gutterpunk.

oh yeah another thing, DONT use UT2004 (or 03 probably) for your artifact testing. I can take my card up to 560mhz core and 800mhz MEM and it runs GREAT! But any other game and the whole darn thing crashes and burns

MY GOODNESS lol you guys make this sound scary, maybe I'll just stick to my Overdrive lil check box =D hehe yaya its over clocked by like 23mhz =P hehe. Idk think I should give it a try I've done the memory one and let it go for a half hour up to 563.63 while I was eating dinner before I posted here, but I've yet to do the max memory.. should I use that?
