4.9`s anytime soon ?

i read somewhere that the 4.9`s are soon to be released...

now the question is when ?

i thought it was ment to be early september release 2nd i read somewhere.

also new CCC would be good idea to release with them aswell
as its currently full of little bugs here and there.
and also the 4.8 sets OPGL driver needs some work done to it aswell as its bugy aswell.

hope you driverheaven community has been giveing feedback on the ATI site.

SIMPLE REASON...

becuse the OPGL on the 4.8 Official Drivers are BORKED.
and also the CCC is BORKED.

you must say to your self with so much borked software and drivers what else is there to say but WHEN IS THE UPDATE lol

im happy to wait im in no hurry im just asking a question and dont expect a smart remark back. its obvious why i need the update isnt it.
thats why im only asking when it will be released i dont even care if i dont get an answer back but when i get people replying with stupid answers tot he question im asking then that just ticks me off. no offence intended.

I don't know that we will see them that soon but who knows? I would like to see a new CCC build more than newer drivers. For those that don't like the 4.8's I suggest that you use the 4.9 betas

Hi for one cant play any movies (mpg, rm, avi, wmv or any other) with omega drivers version above 44. Thats basically why me for one is looking foward for this new update.

After version 44 there where, or so it seems, massive improvements on mobile cards performance...

I have a 9000 Radeon with 64mb ddr. I know its a low end card but then again thats one of the reasons I love omega drivers so much. They manage to get more juice out of it. With version 44 I can play doom 3... its not smoth but playable... with the new drivers I hope I can get some more juice out of it.

Nope they will not be out today looks like next week, i got the impression they were coming out with the Control Center as stated on the main page.

the new patch will be out next week. its possible it could be the week after, but doubtfull - depends on the control panel and all.

new advancements will likly be for doom3 including doom3 bug fixes. so it will be nice addition.

With all the complaints about the new CCC they will probly hold off with the 4.9's until they get it worked out.

Here's a question for Zardon,Zardon will the new CCC be intergrated into the 4.9s or will be a seperate download like the old control panel.
I was just wondering,I'd like to be able to keep the old one myself on my other rig. Thx's in advance if that is an answerable question.
