ATI - In what century will you finally fix City of Heroes?

I must say I'm a bit irritated. You've hired a big control panel team to put out a bunch of bloatware - stuff that so far 90% of power gamer's (and illiterate gamer's) really couldn't give a crap about, and yet your driver team remains the same, and I have to put up with graphic artifacts and slow DOOM performance with my X800 Pro.

So my question is: When are you going to fix the City of Heroes rendering issues? I've been waiting 6 months for this fix... I think that's long enough don't you?

Actually I have done that with every CAT release. It's like a massive black hole when it comes to fixing OpenGL issues.

jpinard, please use the default color scheme for the font as black on black really doesn't show up to well (midnight heaven ATM)

as for the errors... although 6 months is a little extreme... agreed.... it does take time to fix some of these bugs..... (sometimes introduced by the game coders themselve)

I'm pretty confident that ATI are trying there BEST to get a driverset available ASAP with the fix....

Well, I have to agree with jpinard on the COH issues. It has been WAY too long for such a popular game to have issues like this for so long. Even if it is the game itself it just goes to show that ATi is not working close enough with developers.

I don't why don't you look at this symbol from thier homepage and see who the games programers give a rats arse, and who thier more co-operative with about m'kay?

Also not all game BUGS are driver related ... Also not that many people have it sinceit's a pay $$$ to play game. Unless you can get them to give me a free lifetime subscption (will never happen) or a actually a free playable demo then i'll never be looking at it.... I'd love to look at it but paying $49 for what a demo is not for me....

why pay $49 for a game to pay a mouthly fee to play, it thats highway robbery!

BE SURE YOUR REPORTING YOU BUGS TO THE GAMES DEVELOPER 1ST!
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/gaming-discussion/50322-re-city-heros-bugs.html

considering most ment to be played games run diffrently acording to brand and has been supper optumized for play on nvidia cards, game bugs are more frequent and more common...lets put it this way there hasn't ever been a nvidia "ment to be played" game that hasn't had some sort of issue on ATI cards since the program started...wether it's intentional or not the game's devopers is in nvidia's pocket and i'd guess they are less then friendly towards ati...Alot of bugs in ment to be played games are fixed from the devopers end were they came from... I get tired of seeing poting fingers and blameing ati for thier problems in nvidia sponcerd games.. when you'd be suprized hame game bugs are just that GAME BUGS...

Just ask them what card they would reccomend for thier game? -NVIDIA

99% of you guys just compain to ati, what about the developer who made the game in the 1st place? why do you not compain to them? If it's a game bug ati has 0% chance of fixing it!

Well it is not always clear who had to take responsibility for in-game bugs.
BTW, it does not mather if the game asks a monthly fee or not (this has nothing to do with the bug)

But if a game was meant to be played on a certain card I don't think the developpers will make a lot of effort to make it run on another card, which is logic in a certain way. So If Ati would make the effort to fix the bug then I guess it would be a nice gesture from ATI, but not a must.
Also keep in mind that some bug fixes generate other bugs in other games. And it is not easy for ATI or the dev team for COH to implement a Bug fix that could cause other (read more popular) games to display bugs.
