??? CCC- Internet Access?

Anyone notice, besides me that is, that when you load the new CCC, there appears to be Internet Traffic generated? Same thing when you close CCC after making adjustments?

Normal?

Sypware?

Of concern?

Just curious.......

Many of the components of CCC are separate bodies and they use internal
connections to communicates with each other. It’s completely normal .
though it is often improperly detected by some fire walls, that don’t seem to
know the difference between a net connection internally, and one that is to
the out side world. Since it’s an internal closed connection there are no
security or priveacy risks involved. Just bussiness as useall

To be more precise, as long as the software only tries to send something to the address 127.0.0.1 then it is a safe type of traffic called local loopback. A rule for allowing that could be set up in a firewall without having to allow any real internet access.
