OK, just installed and got the "incorrect command line parameters. Windows installer. v2.00.2600.1183
copyright blah blah blah ms Portions of this software are based in part on the work of the independant Jpeg group." blah message, reinstalled Radlinker, but have no OGL or D3D options anywhere Also no control panel shortcut on the desktop, and when I use the link in prog files it opens to the Monitor bit. Never had a problem with Omega's before now, so what have I done wrong this time?

As for these drivers, needless to say, Omega, I love them. I've started clicking on banners and stuff on your site to show I appreciate your time and effort <3

Good Morning DH!

The sun just came up a little brighter today - thanks Omegadrive, the note on the laptop driver bug is helpful - will revert to the 2.5.44's (I had the bug on this M6 Dell). Looking forward to seeing yours and ChrisW's CP this weekend on the home unit...

Few probs

Hello,

Just wanted to say I really appreciate your work dude, ATI could really use you!

I also had the "incorrect command line parameters. Windows installer. v2.00.2600.1183" error but re-installing Radlinker got rid of that.

Two other problems I've noticed:

1. When I restarted after install windows detects two "Unknown Devices" which it cannot find the drivers for (obviously referring to my X800 primary and secondary) even though the Omega Drivers are installed and working.

2. Tried to launch Day of Defeat and it refuses to run, gets into game and just dumps back to desktop. Have never seen this before.

Darn. I have a PorStar 4054 with an ATi Mobility 9600 Pro 128Mb video card and the drivers will not install. That is strange that is this is an ATI problem, why did the ATI 4.9 drivers install with the mobility modder?

Omega, it is good to hear everything is ok. I been following all of the storms, especially the ones around Florida (have family there).

Just finished downloading your drivers and will install them tonight. Thank you and god bless.

same problem here, no OGL and D3D options, only Advanced 3D,
there are only tweaks or something, it is not the real thing

Thanks Omega .
But why did you remove the ATITool? I didn't find any bugs at my PC and it makes OCing quite easy: press two buttons and you are done. Are you going to include some kind of OC Check (like the ATITool has) in your future drivers?

Thumbs Up!

No problems here. Great work coming through with this release!

The increased cooperation with ChrisW's RadLinker is a very good idea and I hope it will work out really well. The installation is also improved and just looks very sleak altogether. Just maybe there could be a link/button to open the readme.txt in the beginning of the installation, to make more users aware of the information in there. And while I'm at it, perhaps in the future an option not to put the start menu group in the "all users" folder but only in the current user instead. (this is cosmetics, but anyway)

The size is right. I got no such error here though.

You can still install the CCC if you like to, but I suggest giving this driver package a chance without it first. The integrated RadLinker feature is more powerful than what CCC can do so far.

You need to uninstall the old Radlinker and install the new included one to get the Advanced 3D panel, thus, the new D3D and OGL options.
As for the desktop shortcut, I removed it for that exact same reason, but it will be replaced in the future with a link to the new CP.

You can use RivaTuner for that, that's what I use, that is, until we add the option to the drivers later.

1. Check the Device Manager and see if the 2 unknown devices are in fact the video drivers, I think those 2 are the WDM drivers if you have a VIVO card.

2. Follow the AGP acceleration instructions in the readme.

You can but it's not recommended by Omega. The new Omega Cat set has it's own custom CP as an alternative to ATi's CCC.

That's because this driver set is almost as highly anticipated as HL2.

I can't wait to d/l it when I get home.
