FPS Drop

Hey alll

I am happy to say that my driver problem is fixed and that nothing crash now, but there is a new problem :P

My fps seems to drop in the 50's when playing Day of defeat at certain places on the map, but this didn't use to happen before, so it's probably just a setting issue that I am not aware of.

I am using a 9800 pro 128mb with catalyst 4.9

Reinstall your chipset drivers, then afterwards reboot and redetect your SmartGart settings even if they appear to be correct. Reboot again and see if there is any difference.

you mean my ati drivers or my nFroce2 drivers??

Chipset would be your nForce2 drivers.

do i uninstall everything from ati before i intall these beta drivers or do i need to keep the control panel or the catalyst control center???

No you can just install your chipset drivers, you shouldn't need to remove your video drivers (or the CCC) first.
