Counterstrike Lag with AI on High

What the title says... If the option is set on high, my fps might go below 100, maybe on a smoke or something. that NEVER happened before, and I am 100000% sure it has nothing to do with my computer. PLUS, the barrel of my m4 gun is really buldgy, like it ate too much. This only happens with that AI thing set to high. If I set it back to normal, everything is back to normal. What is going on?

I have trueform on, but when the AI is on high, it is budgy. When on normal, the m4 is fine... weird..

Anyways I got another question pertaining to Counter-strike... I tried to do a Radlinker on the game and it really messed with CS. What mode does it use? OpenGL right? Cause when I try to select it, it says : "cannot book into that video mode, will start in software mode." This is very bad... I wasnt my old Counterstrike back!!

Thanks.

but truform is what's causing the buldging problem, and probably the dropping below 100fps problem. turn it off as people have been telling you and it will be just fine. if you want it for some other game (i have no idea why...i really don't like it) then turn it off by entering in those commands that perfect reason gave you.

Also CS can be either DX or ogl.

Turn off Truform. It might causes issues in some titles as you're seeing. Also for Catalyst AI if you encounter any issues with ANY titles you play just run it at normal; it should be sufficient for any games you play and give you a healthy performance boost (depending on the game of course) without sacrificing too much IQ or causing glitches.

BTW to use AI on "high" requires a high end system lots of cpu and ram,
just use the default low setting......

The newest Omega drivers... the beta ones (but they work exceptionally well)

Depends if the guy means CS:Source.
If the CS you mean is CS:Soruce, its D3D - Valve have curently, as far as I've heard, NO plan of throwing openGL into CS:S

If CS:S is meant here, turn off AI competely and try cl_smooth "0" in console - it helped me alot with alot of things.
