I am getting desperate to get my setup back up and running. After a MB + HDD replacement I no longer seem to be able to get any multimonitor setup working.

I have an AIW9800SE, which I got to run (on my previous installation) a dual-setup by using a modified monitor cable. My new MB is an Asus P4R800-V Deluxe, which comes with a 9100 IGP. It says that it would run nicely along with any other ATI graphics adapter. The thing is that I can't even get the 9100 IGP to run on its own!

So... ...I downloaded the 9800SE to 9800XT bios upgrade, hoping that would work. It didn't. I uninstalled the Catalyst drivers and replaced it with Omega drivers. Nothing. I can't run dual-head (the DVI/HD15 adapter), and the integrated VGA adapter still won't fire up.

On interesting feature in this whole scenario is that if I disconnect the DVI from the splitter, the HD15 displays nicely. If I reconnect the DVI, i get that display only.
