??? 9800 Pro --> XT

My RX9800proplus is ready for XT Mod (I have add Actic Cooler + heatsink)

My question is ... Putting xt bios will only change core/mem ? I will see a difference?

If i o/c my stock 9800pro to 412/350 , i will get same performance if I change bios to XT ? If i change bios to XT, can i get higher o/c?

And finally where i can get the XT Bios hehe

Thx EVERYONE for your help.

Sorry this isnt for answers, it's for more XT modding questions.

How can I know if mine as the right core without touching it? Is there a program?

Install radlinker, or omegadrivers which include radlinker. The programme tells you what your current gpu speed and ram speed is. Crosscheck these speeds with the speeds provided in the hardware specifications by your card's manufacturer or general specifcations for the type of card you own.

Well my card is an ati radeon 9800pro, came with 378 core speed and 337.50 memory speed. So how do I know if it has the r360 core?

I've just read Radeon 9800 Pro To Radeon 9800XT Mod Guide Rev. 5.1 from Adrian's Rojak Pot and it says that no software can detect an r360 core. I guess I'll just remove the cooler.

Yep, only way to be certain.
- Also gives you a chance to put some AS on it instead of that stock paste

I would change it to a AC VGA silencer at the same time.
