radlinker - after exit settings not reverting

I'm using omega's latest (based on 8.07 w/ built in radlinker)
After i exit a game that i have custom settings/radlink with radlinker, my default settings on my omega 3d tab dont go back to what i have them at. It just stays at what settings i had for my game. I have "mode change" on and stuff, and after i exit the screen flashes, but the settings don't revert back to defaults like they should.

example, i have everything in my omega control pannel to AA / AF at "app preference" and AI on and vsync on. When i play ut2004 or any game with radlinker, the radlinker settings get applied permanently to my omega control pannel, instead of just while i'm running the game, and do notrevert back to what i had them prior to running the game.

System Specs

Definitely not normal. Try using the start menu shortcut for re-running the RadLinker installation and repair or uninstall it followed by a reinstallation. And/or try removing the radlinks/custom settings and make new ones.

Aha, i know the exact reason!
If i have STEAM open, like just running in the tray, (for some reason or another) it messes things up. Like i'll have my normal omega CP set to app preference, start up a game (like ut2004) with custom settings/ radlinker, and it will work fine with the custom settings i have it set to, but then when i exit, those settings get applied to the omega CP (no longer at "app pereference" like i want for AA/AF). A moment after i close steam the screen flashes again and my settings to back to what they are default at (and how i want them). I think it was because i had some "custom settings" for my steam too, so when i had that open and ut2004 open and then closed ut2004, it some reason kept the ut2004 settings...

so the fix was to close steam, or just remove its "custom settings" and then you can leave it open, while playing another game (ut2004 in this case).
