Omega Drivers DVI Triple Buffering and Vsync
I just got a nice Sony TFT Flat Panel monitor today, I have it hooked up using the DVI connectors. Apparently DVI mode is locked at 60 Hz, that doesn't seem to be a problem, and from what I've read that's the way it's supposed to be.
My problem is triple buffering and VSync. With Doom 3 triple buffering doesn't seem to work any more. When I look at the fps it's either 60 or 30. Now with a D3D game, FarCry, I can't seem to get VSync turned on. With it forced in the Control Panel and turned on in the game options, it's still not synched. Framerates are reaching well over 60, when just at the menu screen and r_displayInfo 1, the framerate counter is around 300, that doesn't happen with VSync enabled. I'm using the latest Omega drivers based on the 8.07 beta release. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone. Right now with triple buffering not really working I'm just living with VSync turned off (I'm not noticing that much tearing). I'm using the Radlinker element of the Omega drivers to change the above settings.

For Doom3, make sure you are not using the old CS-optimal OpenGL part. Other than that the RadLinker controls should work and does so here with the mentioned driver set. I don't have FarCry installed but other Direct3D games respond well to the settings, like UT2004. Noticed though that the game automatically enables triple buffering whenever vsync is activated, even though triple buffering was set to false in the ut2004.ini. Smart engine, and if I remember correctly FarCry acted similarly when I last had it installed.
