Default Post Mobility M6 questions. Help a n00b out. :)

Just recently purchased my Dell SmartStep 200N laptop. I've been an nvidia person before this, but this laptop only had the option for me to get the ATI Mobility M6.

I got the most recent version of drivers from dell, and got a 3Dmark2001SE score of 2681.

Having found this site, i downloaded and installed the Plutonium XP 8.1 set, for a small step up to 2703.

Are these the best drivers I could be using? I noticed the Omega/Plutonium XK1.1.18, but the link was down. What's the difference, here?

Also, how dangerous is it to overclock the video card on a laptop such as this? it's routine for me on all my other computers.

Overclocking would probably be safe, if you kept it within reason, also: the Plutonium 8.1's are probably best for you, but all systems are different.
