Do the 4.11 still freeze/lockup in COD and punkbuster?

FIFA 2005 detect XT cards (9600/9800 by my tests) as low end card and force resolution to 640x480 at ultra low quality.
tried to tweak and modify the settings manually but no luck.
other EA products seems to be fine, many users report the workaround is to use cata 4.5

p.s.
no FIFA 2005 patch yet

Its just we were focusing on another driver dealing with some game that is supposedly coming out very soon, that people seem to be interested in. Cant think of that games name, but hmmm... oh ya I better get back to getting the beta CAT 4.12's out....

CM, I look forward to the updated list, And appreciate your efforts to get the next set of drivers to us...

im looking forward to the list of fixes too... im downloading now, but i dunno if i should wait for the next beta release... hrm... for that game u mention

just got a PC Power and COOLING 510 Express Powersupply for 230$ so i hope its pleases my 9700 bad boy

i also hope these drivers fix my "Signal Loss issue" if its gone due to the new powersupply thats great too, but i shouldnt have to buy a 230$ powersupply to fix that problem (or revert to older drivers/modded drivers).

but i know theirs little i can do until someone from the beta team experiances the issues

edit: in preperation, i have uninstalled all previous versions of .net and i am installing .net 2.0 beta
hopefully things will work out just fine. and hopefully that doesnt mess up my install of visual studio .net

cant tell until i test it all out tho.

4.12beta hotfix is out now!!!! doesnt look like CCC is included spacifically for that release, but im guessing that the release of CCC with these 4.11 will work just fine with it... and mabe omega will make his drivers based on the 4.12 beta (mabe, its my own speculation).

I don't like the CCC, but it does work when you fool around with it... I'm just hoping that these drivers introduce a few fixes to it...

I benchmark drivers like crazy hehe. Thats how I know how my video card performed. I'm downloading them now. Long 2 hours and 15mins for me

Using the 4.11 drivers I was hoping to play Richard Burns Rally with my X800 pro and enable the 'high graphics' option without a freeze on the profile loading screen. These drivers dont make any change to that I'm sad to say.
I used an 9700 pro and that worked in 'high detail' but the x800 pro doesn't!

I'm also wondering if there are any specific tweaks for RBR. I play it daily, using the Omega beta 4.11 and it works perfect where any of the "stock" drivers will cause freezes and lock-ups in the game..

In my experience setting AI to *OFF* helps too.

(BTW twangman, PM me if you want to play RBR multiplayer- it's great fun -RBnet is a blast).

I have overdriver here with my 9800xt sapphire.

BTW, when you disable the systray option the tray exe is still in the startup folder. I know ATI is aware of this issue, just thought I would point it out again so that it can be fixed for 4.12 official release.

After install and reboot my screen was scrambled. Had to reboot again.

Then my dual monitors were FUBARED.
They were reversed and very confusingly so. Then when trying to fix it, CCC slowed to a crawn for about 3 minutes then crashed. REboot required to get in.
Finally fixed it through the default windows monitor manager thing.

Then I try to play some UT2K4. "No Direct3d device detected....blah blah blah..."
Run DXDiag and all checks out...
reboot. Now playing the game...ARTIFACTS!
Ridiculous!

This represents 10 minutes of folly. I uninstalled the old drivers before these. Maybe it was a poor install or something but JEEEEEEEEEZ!

Hmm, I'm having strange problems with Overdrive (CCC). Graphichs Memory Status' Overdrive Level is 000MHz

and when I enable Overdrive my screen becomes blurred (white vertical lines across my screen, moving[green, red, white] transparent objects... etc). I have to reboot my computer to remove them.

i know that in my post i mention the bug with the omega drivers but i had it also with the official 4.10s on perfect settings the game would have this glitches and eventualy screen gets black and game stopps responding.
im not sure anyone really cares about this OGL game as i never see it mentioned in the drivers release notes.

I still got the hard-lock using the Cat 4.11's in COD

I also got an odd full screen graphic corruption on desktop once I activated the overdrive for the first time, a reset seemed to fix it but it happened again (it seems at random) after that...

Why aren't you using the beta 4.12 drivers? They have the punkbuster fix.
