Unfortunately even after "2000000" years, even the best programmer/ developer cant predict how a program will run on any system. Since their are thousands of different hardware setups and software (e.g. drivers etc) you cant expect a piece of software to be perfect. Goodness knows if Windows was perfect Bill Gates would never make any more money out of new windows' OS's.
