EDIT: Just tried turning off AI in CCC per a different post regarding the flashing, tripped out textures below the stickies in the forum. No corruption with settings of 1024X768, High , 2X AA, trilinear All are reccommended by game except the 2XAA where the game suggested none. No corrruption for 20 mins. I'll update this if I encounter problems again.

EDIT 2: Ok, no massive corruptions like walls and such anymore still. Have had a few minor glitches, particularly on faces (both the sidekick female NPC and the dictator guy on the tv's) this is the only problem still occurring thus far. . . and they resolved themselves after a loadpoint in the game and the reappeared later again, only to diappear at a load point again. Hope this is helping or whatever. Just felt like I'd keep a running update in the thread applicable to the issue.

UPDATE:

looks like i have fixed my problem i installed wxp-w2k-8-07-018211e_Hotfix_4.10 Beta`s right over the 412 beta`s and now my weapons are not flickering.

useing 1280x1024 6aa16af MAX DETAIL.
5.1 Digital SoundStorm Sound

AWSOMEEEEEEEEEEEE

untill a true 4.12 driver set or hotfix comes out this will have to do though now i can finaly play the dam thing hehe

My guns keep flickering as well, I have an AMD Athlon XP 3200.....

I am using 4.12 betas... so Ill try another driver set and see if it fixes things.

I got an AMD AthlonXP 2800+. I get texture flashing on the tops of boxes. At first it seemed similar to what happens in CS:Source on the borders of walls and such(where two walls meet togeather, sometimes there is a very tiny white gap between them) but these ones flash now. Its hardly noticable unless you're near the crates, but its kindof annoying.

Just noticed the same flickering with weapons. Only appears with water behind weapon. I'm using an xp-m 2400+ @ 233fsb x 10.

See Signature. Major weapon flickering with V-Sync or Temporal AA turned on. Turning both off fixed 95% of the problem for me.

EDIT: Played more with V-Sync and Temporal AA off and weapon/door flickering started up again. Went to the new 4.11s and all's good, except FPS went down. Nice work ATI with your close involvement and this great game.

by texture flashing you mean the rainbow colored triangles that flash all over everything? i just updated to the 4.12's from the latest omega's and encountered that problem.

barton 2800+, radeon 9550XT aka a scaled down 9600XT

my barton is running at 2.31GHz

i turned AI down to standard and a lot of the flashing went away, but i ended up uninstalling the 4.12's after my computer black screened for the third time.

changed to the latest omege drivers, based on 4.11 beta i think... maybe based on 4.10 i dunno, anyway, no more flickering....

but i want a fixed 4.12 or 4.11 b/c it ran ALOT smoother with those ATI drivers
