Can't get 4.12 drivers working for the life of me

Ok I tried patje's modded files but I keep getting a flickering screen when I get back into windows after restarting. I tried using XClaude's new INF file as well and I still get a flickering screen This is really making me crazy and I just want a decent pair of drivers to use with my laptop. Maybe someone has a 3790 that has gotten the 4.12 drivers to work and they could write up an idiot proof set of directions? I officially hate ati drivers This is worse then installing ati drivers in linux

Each lap top is not the same diffent "optional" features such a power save etc...
that likely prevents ATI from makeing a generic driver for them offically... Not much that ATI can do about it...So don't be blameing ATI for you laptop makers negligence & not updateing thier drivers.....

your laptops latest supported officals are available at "yourlaptopmakers.com"

You can wait and see if the omega work for you or..... try downloading your latest MFG set and drag in just the new driver files over the old ones and install to see if that works for you....
