Cat 5.1: Forgiven working 4 me now and well

Sapphire 9600XT 256mb (Fastwrites:on in BIOS + CCC)

I gave 5.1 another chance and I am glad I did. First time I had downloaded the large pkg, the so called high speed download version that is one file. Had some issues with frame rate lag and detail level in one app.

Tried downloading and installing the other pkg where there are four file packs to download. I downloaded only the driver pkg and the CCC pkg, and installed them after a thorough uninstall and DriverCleaner3 sweep on the previous one.

Things seem to be good. Windows 2D performance is smokin' for the most part, and so far my one Open GL game is running well with this version of the driver, and in high detail @ 32bit texture setting (32 bit selectable in-game prefs).

Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I haven't jinxed it by posting this praise...

T still behind I still have the 4.12's loaded,guess I need to give these a try

Recommend downloading the driver and CCC packages separately (low speed dail-up version of the install package that is four files). First time when I downloaded the single package (broadband download version) is when I had some problems with it after install.
