exclamation What is the right installation order?

Hi there,

I've just downloaded new Cats 5.2. My WinXP is not English, so I DL'ed all installers splitted (to have spanish).
The question is, I have to choose if I want to install Control Panel or CCC?, or you have to install all 3 files (drivers, CP and CCC)?. if so, what is the order, does driver, cp and ccc sounds right?

Thx

first install the drivers. you don't use both cp and ccc at the sametime.ccc will always overwrite the cp.

cp is the normal control panel..which you should recognise if you have used cats before.

or

ccc is a more updated version that will require netframework 1.1 installed.which also holds a few more options within the panel.

this will give you a description of what CCC looks like and how it's used.

this is a description of one of the enhancements by the ccc catalyst AI

read those two links then decide which you want to install.

the ccc is a little bit of a system resource hog (but not huge).having to install netframework also.many like the ccc which i do,but i have 2 gig of ram it's no bother to me.....but is a little confusing to start with if you have never used it before....

but if youre not bothered about the AI i would use the cp IMO....even though you have got a decent system in youre sig.
