Restart Runtime????
Having a prob with CCC (I guess). Whenever I boot or reboot the comp, the CCC doesn't activate. Can't right click anything concerning video properties or display functions and none of the ati icons will work either. I have to click "Restart Runtime" in the ati start menu the get things working again.
This just started yesterday after two days with no problems with the new driver set.

Do:
Start/run/ and type in: msconfig.exe Now check the 'startup' tab and see if 'cli' is ticked: cli - "C:\Program Files\ ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\cli.exe" runtime If its not, tick it and restart your computer. |

I'll uncheck it and re-tick it and see if that fixes it.

Seems strange...
How about reinstalling CCC? The .msi should be in C:\ATI\support\wxp-w2k-ccc-xxx\ACE\ATI Catalyst Control Center.msi if reinstalling fails you could also try placing the 'restart runtime' in your startup folder? |

Install .Net 2 betas. I experience the same problem with every CCC release. Uninstall the .net 1.1's which you most like have and get the beta from Microsofts website. For me the issue with the CCC not starting has now been resolved (though a new issue arises which I have mentioned in the CCC improvement thread).
