Resolution problems with CCC.

Hey, I just got the latest 5.3 Cat. (CCC) drivers, and the resolution menu is messed up. First, the correct display settings are selectable in the normal Windows desktop resolution selection, but in the CCC they only go up to 1280x1024 and then allow only 1360x768 and 1360x1024, which I know my monitor dosen't support. It should go to 1792x1344 @ 60Hz but that's not selectable. There are also other resolutions selectable that my monitor does not support. I have "use EDID" enabled and it says that my monitor is capable of 1920x1200 and and a 160Hz refresh rate. It correctly identifies the monitor as a SyncMaster (The full name is Samsung Syncmaster 955DF, but it only says syncmaster) I don't know how I'm supposed to fix it. Does it even matter? Thanks.

change the displays manager refreshrate then all resolutions that work at that refreshrate should be selectable

if your monitor supports 1792x1344 then any resolutions lower than that should be selectable including 1360x768 and 1360x1024 since they are lower

there is a bug with reading the EDID info in the CCC, where it says the monitor can support different resolutions to what it really can so report that to ATI

System Specs

Have you installed the monitor driver yet? Sometimes they add resolutions you may otherwise be missing.
