??? radeon 9250 recognized as 9200 pro by omega driver

Hi

After the installation of omega 2605 my Asus 9250 TD 128 bit is being detected as 9200 pro. It could be, that the 9250 pro and the 9250 are similar, then I wouldn't worry, but I don't know the tech-details. Can someone enlighten me, please?

The DNA 3.7.5.2 has recognized the 9250. I didn't do any performance-testing, because the card is supposed to work without any problems first of all.

In fact both drivers seem to be solid.

I like e.g. the explanations given by the omega driver (thank you for the work!) during the installation process and I'd like to keep this driver.

System Specs

It's the same graphics chip so it shouldn't pose any trouble.

If there is no specific named entry for your card then a generic one is used but this doesnt matter as the same driver is used regardless so there is no loss in performance

If you check out the INF file you should see pretty easily how to add your card to the list, the details you need are in the options tab of the old CP or in the help section of the CCC

Are you an insomniac or what

Its a name. The core itself is still based off of R200, that would keep ME up at night, not the name, the technology.

Regardless I doub't you'll miss any performance, just "cool" factor
