This is bad right?

I've been getting stuff like that in every game released after 2002 ever since I updated my drivers from the ones I got with my 9250. Only two things get rid of it, lowering texture quality or turning off mipmaps, neither of which I want to do.

I've already tried asking for help in 4 different places, and I was hoping someone here could finally help me.

Right now I'm using latest Omega drivers, but I've also tried catalyst 5.2 and 5.3, and I think it was 4.1 or something I tried before those. I think I should try doing a driver clean then installing drivers again, old drivers might be conflicting.

yea, you gotta use driver cleaner, i remember someone else was having that same problem... This isnt a laptop is it ?

Try omegs 4.9 aswell

No, not a laptop. I'm going to try DC and Catalyst 5.3 right now.

Crap! When I try to install these drivers it gives me an error saying there aren't any drivers installed, then it closes the installer and punches me in the face. Any help for this?

heero for that error try installing the windows xp radeon drivers then try again

For starters, that is not Codename Eagle, looks like Hitman Contracts to me.

And about the error, use Driver Cleaner or reinstall Windows... That should solve the problem.

it's my understanding he used DC and then got the error but i dont thiink he needs to reinstall windows just for that

After downloading and installing the Omega drivers again after a driver clean, I'm getting the same damn errors. WTF is going on! Did I not plug the card in right?

you may need to re-install your motherboard drivers. You may have cleaned them off by mistake using DriverCleaner.

Then stop using omega drivers, install cat 4.12 use drivercleaner in safe mode, restart cancel drivers windows tries to install, install cat drivers. ( do NOT use CCC )

Well, after failing everything else I just wiped all drivers and install the ones I got with the card on CD. These work fine enough. They fix problems with most textures but I still get some problems. Less than with anything else I've tried. I'll just not screw with this set-up, it works.

But if I did want to install newer drivers how would I? Should I install them then use driver cleaner or other way around? Because whenever I install ATI drivers I need to have the old drivers on the machine still.

Okay I got everything fixed. After installing the drivers I got on CD I just downloaded and installed cat 5.3 and everything works fine now. Thanks for the help.
