What is the best driver for World of Warcraft?

I always use Omega Drivers (the best..period). I am using his last set (based on 5.2, i think).

I am getting lock ups/graphic corruption/display driver failure after about 1 -2 hours of playing.

I recently moved from a cool house to a warm apartment and it gets very warm after the first hour of playing. I could stretch this and say its a heat issue, but there are too many reports of people playing and having the same problem. Besides, I can restart my system and play in the now hot room for another hour or 2 before it locks again. If the system & room was already hot, the card should fail faster, not slower.

Any issues with other games? I know it may be too much to ask to play another game after WOW, but see if it happens too. Then you can probably rule out the game issue, and take a look into other reasons (heat as you mentioned is a very likely one, and it does not have to be related to your video card either).

Any particular error messages or screenshots you can post?

Bah it should be the latest Omegas as the author plays World of Warcraft a lot (seems to me)

As redsolar mentioned, try other games (that have at least the same recommanded system requirements as WoW)

I play stutter free with Omega 4.12... after sticking in a gig of ram. Now runs smooth as silk.

So is the problem solved or are you still crashing?

Use Omega's. Period.
The crashes you're having are probably due to the actualy game, not your drivers. At least, that's the problem on my side.

How do the NGO ones REALLY compare to the Omega's?

I know Omega is THE driver mod king, but how many of these others (like NGO) are actually qualified to mod drivers? I've seen ATI mention Omega drivers, I've seen MaximumPC mention ATI drivers, I've yet to see either company mention anyone else.

BTW, still crashing in WoW.

Are you overclocking anything? I have seen from different posts that WoW does not play well with any overclocking.
