Catalyst freezes RadLinker's brightness horrible, what are my options

With the newest catalyst drivers (download today). And the last few previous versions. During Dark Age of Camelot my computer just freezes, until I reset it. WIth the Omega drivers it works but Radlinker's brightness doesn't work. The brightness DOES work for catalyst if you go to color, set it to FullScreen 3D and change brightness. Chris told me to find if I can disable the in-game gamma of DAOC but I haven't found to. And if catalyst drivers can do it, radlinker *could*. *shrug* I'm stuck with horrible lighting for now
