My computer is fairly new, but not the greatest thing in the world. It is an Emachines T2895. It has onboard video and no AGP slots or PCIE slots. I was forced to buy a regular PCI video card as I like gaming and the onboard stuff just doesn't cut it. Anyway, I bought the ATI Radeon 9250. Here is exactly what I did and the problems I am getting. Emachines tech support was of no help whatsoever.
I first disabled my onboard video by going to the device manager. I then installed the card, then I installed the software. I had no errors or problems of any kind during installation. when I rebooted my computer, I connected my monitor to the new connector on the card. all I could see was "no signal". I then connected the monitor back to the original onboard slot and now have a very bad picture with just basic visual stuff. I assume this is because I have the onboard card disabled and it is just working enough for me to get by. Anyway as the computer finished booting, I received the following error message: The ATI Control Panel failed to initialize because no ATI driver is installed or the ATI driver is not working properly. I unistalled all of the software, then reinstalled everything again. Same result. I then went to ATI.com downloaded the drivers from there but to no avail. I then tried another Download from ATI and now I'm getting this error instead of the aforementioned: CLI.exe The application failed to initialize properly. (0xc0000135) Click on OK to terminate the application. I don't know what to do now. I do know that I am getting a headache from looking at this screen this way. Please help me. I know you guys know what you are talking about, just remember I am a computer idiot and some of the things you may think are simple will probably fly over my head. Thanks, Parker |

The (0xc0000135) error is because you didnt install .NET (it tells you this on the download page and lots of other pages at ATI's site) ... .NET is available from windows update amongst other places
To disable your onboard graphics it should be done from the Motherboard BIOS not the device manager

![]() @ BamaSon25 Depends on the motherboard its usually Delete key when the computer first powers up or F1 or in some cases F10 (there should be a message that comes up when its counting the memory etc telling you of the key to press, or it will be in your motherboard manual) I had a quick look for an online manual for your motherboard but couldnt seem to find one on emachine website
