omega plutonium drivers and panning on laptop

I was under the impression that these drivers allowed the removal of the panning effect i get on my toshiba 1905-s303 laptop. the res i am looking to achieve is 1400x1050...but anything past 1024x768 creates the panning effect. Also, reading the changelog/version file that comes with the driver it mentions of a newly added res of 1400x1050 but it is not listed in the display properties. I'm not knocking the driver at all.....i'm just curious if it's something i'm doing wrong on my end. Any thoughts?
