exclamation just installed new omega drivers now dod gos into software mode help plz

Hi im new here so i say hi to all the people out there.
the other day i installed the latest omega driver for my ati 9800 pro.
before that i uninstalled my stock drivers that came with the card.

anyway it installed and it rebooted and seemed like it was fine but when i went to play dod
it opens in software mode and when i try to put it into opengl od d3d it just go's to the dest top and says display mode wont work going back to software mode.

so i then uninstalled the omega driver with divercleaner pro that came from this site
and tryed some other ones i tryed 5.

all of them do the same thing so i went back to my old driver that came with the card and now that doesnt work

i even tryed reinstalling dod and half life and my other games dont work they say im missing directdraw and some other stuff what am i doing wrong plz help a gamer thanks
if you do.

Omaga6.

Reformat would prolly be yer best option, do you have direct X 9 installed, r yer chipset driver up to date? but id run Drriver Cleaner again, (in safe mode of course), afer that reinstall chipset drivers, directX, and the vid drivers lastly, id recomend the Omega 4.12, as they have a good rep and r very stable

I'm actually using the latest Omega drivers for D3D, and the OpenGL drivers from the Cat 4.12's(which were rock solid IMHO)

If you would like to try doing this, then download this zip file, and extract to your windows system32 folder.....overwriting the OpenGL file that's in there already.

I would certainly recommend you do NOT overwrite your file in system32 folder. Instead, you can put this file in the same folder where the main OpenGL game executable is located. This will make the game use that particular driver instead of the currently installed one. Don't you love OpenGL drivers for that?
