What do these temporal AA settings do?

All I know that 2xT2 is equal to 4xAA with the performance of 2xAA but not sure about the other levels of temporal AA

4xT2 = what level of AA and the performance of which level?
6xT2 = what level of AA and the performance of which level?
2XT3 = what level of AA and the performance of which level?
4XT3 = what level of AA and the performance of which level?
6XT3 = what level of AA and the performance of which level?

System Specs

i dont know what the performance of each level is, but i do know that with temp aa on and 6x AA, i peak at 60fps in counter strike with an x800 pro at 1024x768. i took a couple of screen shots awhile ago of the same spot with and without temp aa, couldnt tell a bit of diffrence.

*found the pics i had.
temp aa, 6xAA

just 6xAA

no difference because you cant "capture" temporal aa in screenshots.

T2 is temporal FSAA with two different sample patterns.
T3 is temporal FSAA with three different sample patterns.
You can see the different sample patterns by running the DX9FSAAViewer at full screen.
