New registry settings for XP64?

Was poking around in the registry after installing the 5.4 drivers for XP64 and noticed a few new entries that I was wondering about. Under HKLM\Software\ATI Technologies\Desktop there are two new keys called CP template and another with a string of numbers. Insitde these are other keys called FGLCP then Profiles, inside the profiles section there appears to be lots of setting for what look like professional graphics software that could be accelerated by workstation class GPUs. My question is why would these setting appear for a gaming card like mine (an X800 pro), and would changing the values have any positive effects on the relevant software?

Its for FireGL cards only so making the changes will have no effect

I thought they might be for FireGL, I was just wondering why they would be installed for an X800 pro card.
